For three years, many people found that they were very fond of the Saturn Aura. Although there were people who really liked this car, Saturn decided to discontinue producing it in 2009. If you are one of the people who liked this car and are in the market for a new vehicle, you are probably wondering if there are any cars that are similar in style and performance to this one. You’ll be happy to know that the Buick Regal is considered the official successor to the Saturn Aura. As a result, this Buick model is a car you should seriously think about owning.

So, what makes the Regal an attractive car to own? To begin with, it has a very sleek design. Instead of being boxy, this car has smooth lines that give it a very sculpted appearance. Another nice thing about the exterior of the Regal are the wheels that it features. The Buick Regal comes with eighteen inch wheels that are cleanly designed and very attractive. The wheels are also well complemented by the grill on the front of this car.

The Regal also offers a wide range of features that make it very convenient to drive. When you are inside of this car, you can take advantage of its Bluetooth connectivity. Because it comes with ONSTAR, you never have to worry about being lost or stranded on your own. The Regal also features a USB port which you can use to play your favorite music while you’re driving. And not only is the Regal quite comfortable to drive, but it’s also very safe. Buick has included top of the line airbags and a wide range of other safety features to ensure that you’re protected while you’re on the road.

Saturn has been a great company that has made a name for itself by building reliable vehicles that are more capable to standing up to day to day life because of the materials that are used in their vehicles construction. Nevertheless, there have been some issues with the cars and, as all car manufacturers, Saturn has attempted to make every one of them right. Unfortunately, with the closing of all of the Saturn dealerships and a resulting lack in certified Saturn mechanics, there are many people wondering what must be done in order to have recalls and warranty work taken care of.

Thankfully, parent company, GM, has stepped in and has taken over the warranty work of all Saturn vehicles and will continue to specialize in their care and service until there are none left on the road. This means that anyone who needs to get work done to their vehicle can still rely on a company to do that for them without having to pay out of pocket. This has come in especially handy with the recall on Saturn Aura sedans.

The only recall to date has been because of a problem with the linkage between the gear shifter on the steering column and the transmission. This problem has been recorded and remedied in all affected vehicles (2009 model year) by the professionals at GM dealerships since Saturn has dissolved. If you buy an Aura that you believe may have this problem it is easy to take it to a GM dealer and have them inspect and repair it if necessary for no cost because of the recall status.

The Saturn is one of the most successful automotive divisions for the trouble U.S. automaker General Motors. While in the process of a massive closings, layoff, and losses as well as bankruptcy, the Saturn Aura has still maintained popularity and makes a great, fuel efficient mid-sized sedan. The Saturn Aura is an attractive sporty-looking sedan. It comes with an automatic six speed transmission, 250 Horse Power, 19 inch wheels, and easy handling. It not only competes with but exceeds the Camry, Accord, and Maxima in sales and performance.

The Saturn Aura first debuted in January of 2005 at the North American International Auto Show and first made production in 2006 for the 2007 year. It was designed as a replacement for the Saturn L-Series and was part of the rejuvenation for Saturn and General Motors. Reviews of the Aura have all been glowing, producing record sales and beaming reviews.

In 2007, the Aura won the prize for North American Car of the Year as well as Canadian’s Motoring Television’s Car of the Year. Other awards include Motorweek’s Driver’s Choice for best new midsize sedan and the World of Wheel’s Editor’s choice for best family sedan.

Unfortunately, the Saturn Aura has been discontinued after the 2009 year due to the termination of Saturn, but it continues to be a popular vehicle with high sales. The offer of a five year 100,000 mile warranty is still in effect. Since there are no more Auras in production today, it is now the time to grab them before they are gone!
